Guidelines for Submitting Research Highlights Related to GEWEX

The Research Highlights Section features GEWEX-related, published research with an emphasis on recent and interesting findings, and shares these highlights with the broader scientific community.

Scientists involved in GEWEX-related research
What topics are suitable?
Timely research (i.e., findings that have been published within the past 12 months)

Research Highlight Submittal Form

Complete the form below to submit your GEWEX science-related publication to be featured on our website

Title of Highlight*

The title should reflect the highlight, but not be identical to the publication title
Journal or Book Reference*
List of all authors on original research or publication, plus year of publication, title, journal/book title, journal volume and page numbers, and DOI (Note: lead author does not have to be the contributor for the highlight). See example below:
Draper, D.W., D.A. Newell, F.J. Wentz, S. Krimchansky, and G. Skofronick-Jackson, 2015. Impact*
A sentence or two, accessible to the non-specialist audience, of the “impact.” For a use-inspired science highlight, impact is typically a potential technological advancement, while the impact of a discovery science highlight might be to open up new frontiers of science or resolve a longstanding question
Summary*
A short synopsis featuring the major finding(s), approximately 200-300 words. Language and style must be accessible to a science-educated audience, but not necessarily within your own field of expertise
