Guidelines for Submitting Articles to GEWEX News

GEWEX News is an un-refereed means of disseminating scientific research results and other information related to GEWEX activites.  It is published quarterly (February, May, August and November). 

Please limit the size of contributions to 1-2 pages (800-1600 words) and try to restrict the number of color figures to one per article.  Other figures must be grey scale or monochrome. 

TIFF,  JPEG,  Postscript and EPS formats are acceptable for figures.  Bitmap formats such as TIFF and JPEG image files are only acceptable if have a resolution of 300 dpi (in general, equivalent to about 2 MB in file size).  Do not send figures embedded in Microsoft Word files. 

Please send  text (in Microsoft Word or "text-only" format), and the accompanying figures to the Editor at gewex"at"gewex.org.    The Editor of GEWEX News reserve the right to edit articles to fit the available space.
