**Students must supply a letter from their advisor stating that the student is currently enrolled at a college or university.
Registration fees cover admission to all sessions, coffee breaks, and the Conference dinner. Lunches are not included as a part of the Conference registration. There are many restaurants located within walking distance of the Conference.

PAPER REGISTRATION FORM
Credit cards may be safely used on the secure online registration web page. Alternatively, the paper registration form may be completed and faxed/mailed to the Conference Secretariat. Fees may be paid by VISA, Mastercard, and American Express, or by a check in US dollars drawn on a US bank, made payable to the "American Meteorological Society" with a reference to the "5th GEWEX Conference."

Financial Assistance
Extremely limited resources are available to support deserving young scientists, selected international participants and Ph.D candidates. Priority will be given to applicants from developing countries. The deadline for requesting financial assistance is 7 January 2005. Please submit requests to the Conference Secretariat. Decisions regarding acceptance of abstracts for those requesting support will be completed by the organizing committee and communicated by 15 February 2005. Participants whose abstracts have been accepted will also be notified of the availability of funding.
